I got arrested at Walmart for not swiping $35 of meat that i kept going fast and just put in bag once attendant ignored me. I go to court today for theft by shoplifting of $35 with no prior charges at all I get in a $700 3 month program but they proceed to put me on a drug and alcohol program that has nothing to do with my charge saying I smelled of something...and then jacked my fees up. I do not appreciate that and think they are wack...I repeat wack. Will get u for anything...as the previous person says...stay out of chamblee. Beware of small cities and counties...they are only after money and that it's. Just sad oh and in order for u to bond out which my bond was $100 you have to pay a $200 deposit that they lie and say you get back after court. All about money. Rich snobby no good for nothing but getting a quota for the week.
I drive thru Chamblee almost daily.. Great officers, quite professional, but they need more officers. The traffic on PIB is crazy, more cops please.....
I was a victim in a car crash along with my boyfriend. We were all treated so terribly like we did something wrong. Immediately as the police department arrives they are screaming at us and threatening to arrest us. I had not one officer calmly come up to me and ask if I was ok. As I'm obviously upset and crying I have another officer right in my face screaming making me cry more. I have never wanted to leave police presence before this but I did not feel welcome or protected by this department just attacked for no reason. Im a tourist here on vacation so they really did not make me feel welcome and I'm upset about that. My police department where I'm from would of never handled that situation that way.
