It's like it was the end of the world because I asked to have a piece of glass cut. I didn't even get exactly what I needed, by the time I went to say something, it was already such a production because people are freaking out about having to have someone come cut glass.
Thank you Lowe's, I didn't think you can sink so unprofessionally low, but as your name states, I guess you could.
Um, it's a big ole home improvement store where the service is little better than the other Lowe's. The gals at the service desk are really quite helpful and cooperative. Still, they're regularly out of stock on something or misdirect me to the wrong place and I wonder around the store like a home improvement zombie. The friendliness makes it my Preferred Home Improvement store.
Great crew out in the nursery. Selection is quite large with many options from the Southern Living Collection and many options from Monrovia Nurserys so quality is quite nice.
I do like Home Depot because they deliver appliances much quicker.
I have dealt with this store on several occasions trying to get a washer and dryer delivered and installed. Entire experience was terrible ended up having to come to the store on multiple occasions just to find out they couldn't install the one we wanted and wouldn't have the other options for several weeks. The one we did order and schedule for delivery didn't fit and had to be returned to the store. Turns out they didn't refund everything (all the little things they charge for such as connections). Sadly it is easier to write this post then deal with getting a full refund (this is after numerous calls and in store visits). Customer service here is poor and not worth the time to deal with issues.
In a more upscale area than the Doraville Home Depot. They carry 40w daylight bulbs, which Home Depot doesn't, as well as prettier things in general.
All this just for a piece of glass, and not even the right one...
I came in just for a pane of glass. I needed a 16 x 20, 1/4 inch thick, trimmed down to 15 1/2 x 19 3/4. I waited 15 minutes for someone to greet me, nobody did, I went to the desk by doors and windows, people stared at me until I asked for what I needed, and then it was like the apocalypse. I waited 30 minutes for someone to finally come over and cut glass for me and when they did, they gave me the 18 x 24 that was 1/8th of an inch thick instead of the quarter inch thickness I asked for, and then after paying for it I realized that they over charged me for the wrong piece of glass, so I had to go back, have them redo their system and charge me for the correct piece of glass- but that doesn't fix the fact that it's half as thick as I need it to be. I fixed my cabinet door, but now the glass rattles every time I open it because the door holds quarter inch glass, not an eighth of an inch. I am not happy. And I will not be returning to this location.
